How to read this index
- Official fees only. Figures cover government filing, publication and registration fees per class. They exclude attorney fees, translation, and notarisation or legalisation of the power of attorney.
- Currency. US dollar figures are approximate. The UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Qatari riyal, Bahraini dinar and Omani rial are pegged to the US dollar; the Kuwaiti dinar is linked to a currency basket, so its USD figure moves slightly.
- Timelines assume no objections or oppositions.
- Validity. A registration lasts 10 years in every GCC state (10 Hijri years in Saudi Arabia) and can be renewed indefinitely.
- Trademark offices and filing requirements for each country are in the linked country guides.
- “Contact us” marks details we confirm case by case. Ask us for current figures.
- Updates. Official fees change. We re-check this index twice a year; always confirm current fees before filing.
