Introduction

Jordan is a strategic transit point at the intersection of Asia, Europe, and Africa, bordering major markets such as Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Syria. The economy is driven by tourism, textiles, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy and manufacturing. As businesses expand in the region, securing trademark protection in Jordan is important for safeguarding brand identity. Jordan follows a "first-to-file" system, making early registration particularly important.

Why register your trademark in Jordan

  • First to file wins

  • Required for enforcement and licensing

Customs action, court claims and licence agreements depend on a Jordanian registration.
