Trademark Registration in Morocco- Protect Your Brand Nationwide

Trademark protection in Morocco is administered by the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC), operating under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Trademark registrations are governed by Law No. 17-97 on the Protection of Industrial Property, as amended. OMPIC conducts both formal and substantive examination to assess compliance, distinctiveness, and conflicts with earlier rights. Morocco is a member of the World Intellectual Property Organization and a contracting party to the Madrid System, enabling international trademark protection.
